Driving on the Motorway doesn’t have to be a big deal!

To some driving on the motorway could be a very nerve wrecking experience. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Rob Nichols Driver Training is able to offer you a specific motorway driving course to help you overcome any apprehension or nerves, and set you on your way full of confidence afterwards!

When using a motorway, you have opened up an avenue of opportunities. The nearest motorway (M1) forms just part of the UK’s motorway network, which effectively enables you to travel anywhere in the UK, without the hold ups you would get going through towns and cities.

You will be given guidance to enable you to develop the skills needed to not only navigate some of the UK’s busiest motorways, but to do so in a safe manner. It does not matter if you have passed your driving test recently or a while a go, you can make use of this training to good effect!

Your motorway driving lessons will include;

1 Joining and leaving the motorway

2 Planning your route and utilising services

3 Making use of road signs, markings, signalling and hazard warning lights

4 Adjusting speed according to conditions and planning ahead

5 Lane discipline and overtaking

6 Break down procedures
